
About this Event
The Fiber Arts Show is your oportunity to show off your fiber crafting. This event is open to crocheting, knitting, weaving, hand spinning, felting, and embroidery. The event is open to all ages and all skill levels.
Classes for both adults and youths.
TO ENTER:
Fill out a Fiber Arts Entry Form. Fill out a Fiber Arts Show Entry Tag for EACH entry. Cost of entry:
ENTRIES should be brought to Centennial Elementary School, 38875 NW 1st Ave in Scio
-- Adult: $5 per entry/item
-- Junior: First entry is free, each following entry/item is $2 per
RULES:
Entries will be accepted Friday, May 15th from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (If this time does not work for you, contact the festival at lwffiberartshow@lambfair.com for other possible arrangements.
All items must be entered into the correct lot, division and class - any item not entered correctly may be moved to the appropriate category at the judge’s discretion

JUNIOR ENTRIES:
Junior exhibitors are youth, ages 5-18 years.
To be eligible for The Fat Lamb Junior Award, juniors must be entered in the age- appropriate youth classes.
JUDGING:
Judging will take place Friday, May 15, after 6:00 p.m. Judge: Linda Fox, Goat Knoll Farm
RELEASE TIME is 3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m., Sunday, May 17, 2026, you may not pick any items before this time.
Each exhibitor must sign a release form when picking up their items – items may ONLY be picked up by names provided on the entry form.

LOTS FOR ALL DIVISIONS (except Miscellaneous Division, last page)
A. 100% Animal Fiber
B. 100% Plant Fiber
C. Blended Fibers
D. Synthetic Fibers
Hand Spinning Division: all yarn must be in appropriately tied skeins and a minimum of 25 yards. CLASSES:
1. Singles
2. Plied yarn
3. Novelty yarn
4. Spindle spun yarn (drop spindle or heritage spindle)
5. Youth (5 to age 18)
Hand Knitted and Crocheted Divisions: these are two SEPARATE divisions, please specify which
on the entry form before identifying class. CLASSES:

7. Clothing (except socks)
8. Accessories – hat, scarf, belt, etc. 9. Socks
10. 3-D items: amigurumi, stuffed animals
11. Afgans, blankets, throws
12. Household (towel, wash cloth, hot pad, runners, etc.)
13. Youth (5 to age 18) - may be additionally divided depending on volume of entries
received

Local Division
Entries must contain a minimum of 80% locally* (see definition below) produced animal and/or
plant fiber. Describe blend percentage in the entry form item description. Items will be judged
using the same criteria as for similar fiber arts classes including; appearance, preparation, suitability, technique, finishing, etc. Prizes will be awarded to the top entry in each class. *Definition of Local: Fiber is to have been produced in Linn County. You must include the
address where the fiber was produced in your entry form item description. CLASS:
