Grand Marshall - Scio Logger Softball
The 2025 Logger Softball season will be remembered as one of the greatest in school history. The Loggers
capped off an incredible 28–1 campaign by capturing the first softball state championship our school has ever
won. In a storybook finish, we avenged our only loss of the season with a 9–3 victory over Dayton in the
championship game. Our fans were phenomenal all year long, and they showed up in full force for the title
game—packing the stands and creating an unforgettable atmosphere for our players.
After reaching the championship game in each of the previous two seasons, this team was determined to take
the final step. Their commitment in the offseason and relentless work ethic throughout the year set the tone.
Our outstanding assistant coaches, John Cooper and Ashton Zeiher, played a tremendous role in that journey.
Their dedication over the past several years has helped our athletes grow, improve daily, and peak at the right
time. This championship is a testament to the countless hours of preparation and belief they have poured into
the program.
